- Criminal Record Verification (CRO) of all potential candidates through the special branch of the police.
- Cross-referencing of the potential candidate’s identification details with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
- Clearance from the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) is obtained for all potential candidates, ensuring their credibility and trustworthiness.
- Requirement of two guarantors to vouch for the character and reliability of the potential candidate.
